Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow, born in Cologne to Christian parents, was the youngest of three brothers and sisters. She was 17 at the time her parents separated. After their company collapsed and she was left with difficulties with her finances. Financial problems were made worse by her anorexia and bipolar disorder. Gossow spoke very openly in her explanation of why she decided to quit ARCH Enemy as their singer. She explained, "There's a place and time for every thing." My professional career started in 1991. In the end, I had began to lose interest in being able to do all that while living a an active lifestyle. Instead of feigning it that I was doing something else, I made the decision to end my journey. The group's initial frontman was Johan Liiva, who was eventually replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow.
