Recent years have seen an American music industry be swept by the rise of fresh talent. Justin Timberlake was the catalyst of this trend, which started over a decade ago and is still a major influence. Ed Sheeran, Zarry Shawn Mendes, amongst others have taken over the show in recent years. Since the beginning of time the newer names such as Ed Sheeran, Zarry Shawn Mendes and other have been in the limelight. Andy Biersack has been a growing star in recent times. His first appearance to the public was the lead singer and pianist in the band Black Veil Brides. The last remaining member and the genesis of the Black Brides, he founded it. Biersack assumed his stage moniker Andy Black, claiming fame for being an early entrant into the genre of music that was like those that of Kiss or Motley Crue. Andy Biersack grew in popularity and power over the course of several years.
